Andy Pyle is the Research Director and Master of the Unexplained at Sol Marketing Concepts. Andy has over 20 years of market research experience. Having spent six years on the client side with both Dell and Compaq, he understands the business decision-making process and the importance of designing and delivering research results that are timely and actionable.
Prior to joining Sol Marketing Concepts, Andy spent the last ten years leading the research efforts at UTech Consulting (Research Director) and Mindwave Research (President). Back in the 90s, Andy was on the client side holding research management positions at Dell and Compaq. Andy has worked with a number of companies over the years, but his recent client experience includes Dell, Black & Decker, HP, Samsung, National Instruments, HomeAway, Intuit, and Public Strategies.
Andy is from sunny southern Arizona where he earned an MIS degree from the University of Arizona in Tucson. After working in Chicago for a few years, Andy came to Austin in 1990 to attend The University of Texas where he earned an MBA at the McCombs School of Business.
Andy loves all things Austin and enjoys being outside in his free time, playing tennis, golf, or riding his bike with a short-sleeve dress shirt on.
